Summer time fun

Every summer I got to listen to the chimed voices of my kids saying, “I’m bored” and “what can we do” about a week into their break. I have three kids ranging in age from 14 to 21 years now, so they amuse themselves quite well… most of the time. When the were much younger though it was a bit of a task to find something, we could all do and enjoy together. We all loved going to the movies, so I thought why not start having movie nights under the stars in our backyard! A summer tradition was born. We have even gone so far as to take a flat screen camping to have movie night at the campground. We were quite the hit with all the other kids camping too. I still love movies and find them a great escape from everyday and I watch movies even if they are (poorly) dubbed or with subtitles. If it’s a good story I want to watch it. Maybe this is the summer you start a movie under the star’s tradition of your own. Here are some of the movies & movie series the kids and I enjoy while sitting under the stars.
